Krista continues to demonstrate dedication to the health and well-being of others through volunteer efforts on a local and international level. Most recently, she organized a toy drive for Little Flower UFSD. This was very successful as each child received new toys. In 2007 (-2016) Krista founded “Christopher’s Run,” a 5k in memory of sweet Christopher, who died after having complications with treatment for a rare genetic syndrome called Hunter Syndrome (MPS II)-this raised awareness and money for MPS II.

Krista offers internship programs with Out East Therapy of NY for students who are currently studying to become therapists, and also mentors students from the local high school.
